Food Pantry

Grace Welcome Center Food Pantry was created in 2019 as a direct response to our immediate neighbors crying out for food assistance. Our goal is to ensure that no families living in this food desert of Uptown and Columbus Park go hungry. Each Tuesday evening the GWC Food Pantry delivers over 3 tons of nutritious food to over 140 families.

Home Cooked Breakfast!

Each Thursday and Friday morning Grace Welcome Center prepares a tasty hot breakfast. Scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit and juice and more are among the breakfast choices each week. There is something to please everyone, including lots of fresh coffee.

Personal hygiene is an essential part of a healthy life. Many of our guests do not have access to wash and shower. Grace Welcome Center offers separate showers for men and women each Thursday and Friday a.m. Along with showers, our guests receive a new t-shirt, new underwear, new socks, and personal hygiene products to help them stay clean.
